Abstract: The above mentioned play gives the information about Post Colonial and the Cultural clashes between Nigeria and Western Society. It also says about the different cultures followed by the people. Due to the arrival of the Europeans to Africa, the European culture has started to exist as a piercing point. The clear visual of this study is to show that how Soyinka has created the characters and the themes. In the year 1986, number of people felt proud for learning Nigerian literature. The people at the other side were deeply attached with their traditions and the customs. Thus this play, describes continuously about the conflicts of Post colonial Africa where the modernity and the traditions are followed.
