A Study of Human Relationship and Problem of Identity in Anita Nairs Novels

Abstract:
This study focuses not only the oppression of women but also on the protagonists aesthetic sensibilities, sustainability, and how they change themselves as the new women in the society. In this context this study gains significance and importance. This research aims at to study Anita Nairs artistic world that deals with the search for selfhood, gender discrimination, female psyche, and human relationship in Indian society. They are scrutinized by involving literary texts. She stresses the need to understand the voices of voiceless women. This study redefines and rediscovers the protagonists social position and their relationship in the male counterparts. This article The Inter-relationship of Feminine Psyche and Human Relationship deals with the harmonial and disharmonial relationship between men and women and the web of human relationship. The writer has dealt with all the dimensions of human relationships. She has revealed the quandary of married women and their nonstop sufferings and efforts to overcome their wretched status. Lack of understanding and communication in a marriage, extra-marital affairs, and men as an arbiter are some of the matters that are discussed in this article. An analysis of the select novels of Anita Nair leads to the conclusion that there is certain strength deep inside every individual and women must be courageous enough to decide their own lives and to have a harmonious life, both man and woman should understand the otherness of the other. It also exhibits the scope for future research on the works of Anita Nair.
