The Interplay of Ecology and Spirituality: Mamang Dai’s Ecospiritual Exploration
Name of Author :
Rashmi HN
Abstract:
This article delves into the concept of eco spirituality as portrayed in the fictional works of Mamang Dai, a prominent tribal voice from Northeast India. Eco spirituality refers to spiritual evolution that arises from ones interaction with ecological stimuli. Dais narratives intricately weave ecological attributes with the spiritual journeys of her characters, offering profound insights into the symbiotic relationship between nature and spirituality. The article begins with a review of existing literature on eco spirituality, laying the groundwork for a comprehensive discourse analysis of Dais five fictional works. Through this analysis, the article identifies and examines the various eco spiritual elements embedded in her storytelling.
