Name of Author :

Abstract:
This paper proceeds with the discourse on international entrepreneurship and management in the context of emerging markets. It claims that the ecosystems that entrepreneurs are incorporated in, particularly in emerging markets, are such unique that they would require the combination of multiple concepts, management and international business for them to be understood. Emerging markets entrepreneurs dont have access to global market as their business environment is very unstable, evolving and the resources are scanty. In this regard, the centrality of the systems surrounding the business and how they influence the strategies of the entrepreneurs cannot be overlooked. To this end, this paper seeks to provide a strategic framework within which future studies and practices of international entrepreneurship can be conducted by learning from case illustrations and existing literature of such studies. Such a framework seeks to provide directions on the need for resource mobilisation, cultural dynamism, and risk mitigating, which are critical components for constructive entrepreneurship in unfamiliar and competitive environments. Again the interplay between the local and the global business world will be increasingly needed as EBES! Entrepreneurs, not only in the short term, have to understand hands on their micro environments but they also have to foresee the effect of planet wide changes that can directly reflect their activities in order to stay successful. The combination thereof draws a picture of the unavoidable for management to by a manoeuvrable vehicle among local cornerstones and pan world trends, ensuring that within the presence of challenges there remain possibilities of influx of new ideas and solutions to the problem. This paper is intended to be a significant addition to the debate on international entrepreneurship and the management of emerging markets in the light of these issues.
