Abstract:
The patriarchal civilization dates back to the early history of humanity and finds a way to pass down the laws through the generations. The idea of patriarchy, while using various techniques to dominate women, does not alter. In a patriarchal culture, womens lifestyles are entirely predetermined by the restrictions that are in place. Womens mental health is impacted by oppression, and this is compared to Manju Kapurs novels.
