Study of Cultural Disputes in Chetan Bagat’s 2 States The Story of My Marriage

Abstract:
This paper discusses the cultural concerns in Chetan Bhagats novel 2 States, which tells the tale of my marriage. He is one of the most well known modern Indian authors of English language works. He has served as a spokesperson for contemporary, young Indian culture. The novels various characters and happenings paint a vivid picture of the various cultures and traditions that are prevalent throughout India. In his book 2 States, Chetan Bhagat focuses on the relationship between a specific phenomenon the idea of love and marriage and the concepts of culture and society, including its traditions. The book 2 States explores various experiences and cross cultural interactions. A straightforward but honest book effectively examines the meeting between Tamil Nadu and Punjab. 2 States The Story of My Marriage has elements of autobiography. The couple in the narrative, Krish and Ananya, are incredibly in love and want to get married. They are from the two separate Indian states of Punjab and Tamil Nadu, respectively. While discussing marriage, the author of the novel also examines related social concerns, such as the practice of dowries in traditional unions and the evolving conceptions of married relationships in multicultural and multinational communities. The cultural differences are also expressed by Chetan Bhagat.
