Grotesque The Thematics found in Alice Borchardt’s The Wolf King
Name of Author :
C. Samuel & Dr. R. Jeya Sundara Raj
Abstract:
Borchardts writings are found to have been focused on her extensive range with configurations of feminine estrangement. An attempt to overview Borchardts The Wolf King will naturally leads one to identify the notions of gender and grotesque as extending far beyond the mythical notion of women as outside. Borchardts The Wolf King is one good illustration of unique writing which exhibits the writers preoccupation with the grotesque structures and gothic elements. One is aware of the writers sense of womens desire which is inclined toward impoverishing the sense of loss as the other.
