Abstract:
This exploration begins with the recognition of language and literature as inseparable partners within the pedagogical realm. The paper advocates for the integration of innovative trends in language assessment that have evolved in response to the evolving educational landscape. These innovative approaches go beyond traditional testing methods to engage students in a comprehensive evaluation of their language and communication skills. Furthermore, this paper emphasizes the importance of nurturing emotional and social competence through language assessment. It acknowledges educators as key facilitators in fostering empathy, emotional intelligence, and effective communication skills among students.
