Womens Education In India
Name of Author :
Sandeep Kumar
Abstract:
Womens education in India is a fundamental driver of societal transformation and economic progress. This paper explores the historical context, societal impacts, economic contributions, and ongoing challenges of womens education in India. It highlights the role of education in empowering women, transforming societal norms, and driving economic growth. Despite significant strides, challenges such as gender based discrimination, limited access to quality education, and cultural norms persist. Addressing these issues requires comprehensive policies, societal commitment, and targeted interventions to create an enabling environment for womens education to flourish.
