Violence: An Overview
Name of Author :
Dr. D. Jaichithra
Abstract:
The term violence threatens everyone in the world. It is widely spread at all levels in the society. Violence is the ugly expression of the term communalism. This adversely affects the nation in the past and gradually reduces the integration process even after independence. The analysis behind the reason reveals the merciless nature of humankind due to satisfy their needs and to fulfill their disgruntled wishes. Literary works reflect the age in which it has been written and acts as a source for future generation to know about the incidence. Most of the pages in the newspaper are occupied with violating news which we could not even imagine. We are the passers-by of all the violations like passing clouds but we have the instinct in us whether anybody will punish the assailant severely which could be a terminating point for violation. This paper deals with the ground cause of violence prevailing in the society and some of the pre requisite measures to overcome the issue.
