Abstract:
A conception of identity plays a critical role in all postcolonial struggles which have so profoundly reshaped our world. It continues very powerful and creative forms representation amongst marginalized people. In postcolonial societies, the rediscovery of this identity is often object of what Frantz Fanon once called: “a passionate research…. directed by the secret hope of rediscovery beyond the misery of today, beyond selfcontempt, resignation and abjuration, some very beautiful and splendid era whose existence rehabilitates us both in regard to ourselves and in regards to others‟'.(143)
