Hushed Discrimination against LGBT Community: A Community of Silence
Name of Author :
Smriti Rani
Abstract:
LGBT is an abbreviation that stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender: that is a taboo in all cultural space saving in the academic world. This article intends to deal with the discrimination practiced against the LGBT community and their rights as human beings. Society discriminates against it and never accepts it. The term MSM is morally criticized by society. Love is Lovely, but for the culture vultures, it should be under the boundaries of what they decide the rules are. The dos and donts should not be based on the sexual orientation of someone. If same-sex marriage is unnatural then we should remember that some people are neither men nor women and they are also Gods creation. If such things are so disgusting to society, then why Nature makes those who are not in the category of what we decide as Gender. The way LGBTs recognition and representation at the global as well as the local level are being deliberated upon from the perspective of human rights, the discrimination is bound to disappear from society today, tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow.
