Name of Author :
Dr. Sunitha Anilkumar, Malini D Kartika
Abstract:
Cheryll Glotfelty defined eco criticism as the study of the relationship between literature and the physical environment. Richard Kerridge extended Glotfeltys definition by including environmental ideas in cultural spaces. Greg Garrard further widened the catchment area of Ecocriticism by introducing three new phrases, the study of the relationship of human and non-human, throughout human cultural history and entailing critical analysis of the term human itself (Dattaray and Sharma 1)
