Abstract:
The very ancient Tamil Society, though it has no traces for the caste system during its initial epoch, a dense practice of caste system has evolved over recent centuries due to the invasion of religious and socio cultural practices of the bhraminical race. There had been manifestations against such practices which have been evolving in parallel to the same over centuries. The raise of Dravidian movement which theorised the Dravidian ideology had produced its prominent voices over the socio-cultural and political spheres by all means. The Dravidian school of films have also manifested its identities including its wide range of principles, enlightening the oppressed of the society.
