The Political Ramifications and Nationalism in Rabindranath Tagores Gora

Abstract:
The major focus of this research paper is to elevate the voice of an unexplored side of pre-independence writer Rabindranath Tagore. This paper gives a graphic description of Tagores understanding of nationalism and patriotism in an authentic way and it intends to explore some of Tagores life experience and the readers are being invited by these poetry, novels, essays and plays with wide range of remembrance. Today Tagores voice has been recognized with progressive ideologies of political novels of nationalism. His novel Gora is concentrated on the freedom movement and patriotism. This novel is considered as one of the most significant novels ever written in British India, for it is an allegory of Indian nationalism, influence in a large quantity of Tagores own view of religious partitions.
