Exploring Race Theory: Understanding The Social Construct of Race

Abstract:
This paper investigates the historical history of race theory, following its progression from early anthropological views to current critical race theory. The study explores how race theory has questioned established ideas of race, power, and privilege, providing new insights on structural injustices through an analysis of major texts and concepts. Through narratives, the study considered topics of gender inequality and racial injustice. Adored by Toni Morrison depicts a dark character making progress in a positive way during a time when a dark person was denied it. Morrison describes the physical and psychological effects of subjection in great detail. Sethe, Paul D, and the other Sweet Domestic slaves were mistreated. Morrison goes into great detail about the physiological and psychological effects of submission. Sethe, Paul D, and the other slaves of Sweet Domestic suffered abuse.
