Unraveling Cognitive Interference An In depth Exploration through the Stroop Effect
Name of Author :
Dr. Amrita Banerjee
Abstract:
In an experiment examining the well-known Stroop Effect in the field of Psychology, a hypothesis has been put forth suggesting that it would take individuals a longer time to identify colours when they didnt match the words displayed. To investigate this hypothesis, a group of 60 undergraduate students participated in the Stroop test, where they were tasked with identifying the ink colour in which either a matching colour block or a word with a mismatched colour was presented.
