Learning is a continuous process and therefore there is no age limit in acquiring knowledge. When comes to Women Education the learning process takes up its limitations. Most of the women lack education due to several reasons, stating from past to present, ancient to modern parents still carry the idea of only the son of the family will take care of their future and spending money on women is a mere waste. This paper focuses on Women and Education and also details the obstacles they face and their struggles to educate themselves. Anita Desais novel Fasting, Feasting published in 1999 presents the condition of women and Education in India.
