Abstract: The concept of motherhood has been dealt in every field as in Movies, Books etc. Motherhood is an important aspect. Through Mothers we learn many things in life. In my paper, I have focused on Different dimensions of motherhood which can be viewed in literatures. I have chosen Beloved, The Scarlet Letter, A Raisin in the Sun, Fasting, Feasting and Where are you going where have you been?. From these literatures we can view the different dimensions of motherhood which has been portrayed in literatures. We also know the role and the importance of mother. This Paper attempts to present Different Dimensions of Motherhood which can be viewed in these literatures.
