A Comparative Study of Anthony Burgess’ A Clockwork Orange and 1985

Abstract:
Literature has been playing a major part in picturing society to the common man through different mediums. Anthony Burgess has used one of the mediums to illustrate the unprintable conditions of the mortal community with deep melancholy. Anthony Burgess has used the novel A Clockwork Orange and1985, to present the condition of humanity and its consequences soon. The protagonists are of colorful periods that indulged in serious violence against the law, faced recuperation treatment, and vengeance the society towards the promoter. The deep involvement in violence, harsh behaviors towards fellow mortal beings, boggling of people, stealing for starvation, abusing of women, alcoholism, facing harsh treatment in jail or recuperation center, and final destination of the icons are the major donation of the society. Anthony Burgess has emphasized the impending peril of humanity due to the incognizance of the illegal deeds.
