Abstract:
Alice Oswald is a British poet, known for the vivid imaginative qualities in her works. Her works focus mainly on nature. Some of her notable works are The Thing in the Gap-Stone Style. Falling Awake, and Nobody. This paper highlights the use of mythology in the poems Severed Head Floating Downriver, Dunt: A Poem for A Dried-up River and Narcissus written by Alice Oswald.
