Ernest Hemingway: War, Coercion and Survival
Name of Author :
Dr. Pallavi Bhardwaj
Abstract:
Well uttered by Robert Kiyosaki, American businessman and author that the thought of straggling makes a man unreservedly depressed that he loses the exhilaration of winning. The quote absolutely entails the instance of battles and wars wherein even after being victorious the natives dont feel contented because of the grief of losing their fellow men on the battlefield. Wars and battles dont bring serenity to the place and to the men; in contrast it raises the blots and the scars of the future generations where they have to ponder about their fathers and forefathers struggles who have lost their lives in order to save their motherland or the fatherland. However, while contemplating, the descendants dont carry the streak of misery instead they feel immensely proud of their antecedents contribution in bringing joy and prosperity to their land.
