Abstract:
Social media is a digital platform as well as an online communication channel which helps individuals to create and share content through interaction with communities at large. With the proliferation of the digital world, educators attempt to enhance learning experiences. This research examines the effectiveness of the utilization of social media as an instructional tool by discussions, multimedia integration, interactive assignments, device usage, etc. Through a comprehensive analysis and the incorporation of a survey amongst students about their usage of social media for learning, this study shall evaluate the impact of social media-based teaching methods on student engagement, retention of knowledge by the students and development of skills.
