COVID-19: Challenges and Issues

Abstract: The present study is an attempt to identify the challenges and issues faced by the people during COVID -19 Lockdown special references with Chennai city. For the purpose of analysis, the data collected through structured questionnaire from 435 respondents using Google form. The primary data were collected from 9 different area under the list of Chennai Metropolitan city namely Ponneri, Ambatur, North Chennai, Thiruvallur, Central Chennai, Kancheepuram, South Chennai, Tambaram and Chengalpattu. Challenges and issues faced by the people during COVID -19 Lockdown, were analyzed using Descriptive statistics, ANOVA test, Correlation and Regression Analysis.The findings of the study indicated that the people are very satisfied with the measures taken by the Authority especially State and Central Government.
